SAMIRA TAZARI
Podcast Producer

I'm a freelance audio producer for narrative long form podcasts with a focus on history.
I reported and produced the Sports Explains the World episode The Skullman Cometh all about an unlikely story involving Lithuanian basketball, an iconic T-shirt and the Grateful Dead. I was also a producer for season 7 of Slate's award winning Slow Burn series. I've worked on shows for Audible, Spotify, Slate and more.
I have also worked as an Oral Historian for the Coney Island History Project.

I'm a graduate of Syracuse University's S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications with a degree in Television-Radio-Film and Russian Language. I also completed the Salt Institute for Documentary Studies graduate certificate program at the Maine College of Art.
In my work, I look to combine the best of story and sound design.
